Meet Ernest.

Ernest Sauceda, a San Antonio Native, continues to make great strides in the arts with his new role as Owner and Creative Producer at Danrie.

Sauceda grew up as first a guitarist and then a singer in the world of Mariachi music. Following his sister’s footsteps, Ernest quickly excelled in music and began performing at local functions soon after starting his lessons at just 10 years old.

At the age of 12, Ernest picked up the violin in his middle school orchestra program. His love for classical music gave way and it became very clear that this is no hobby, but a career. While in middle school, Ernest became the youngest violinist in the Youth Orchestra of San Antonio’s highest level symphony.

During his time in high school, and at age 15, Ernest began performing with known mariachi ensemble, Campanas De America. With Campanas De America, Ernest performed at venues like the Hollywood Bowl, The Kennedy Center, and The White House. While continuing his high school education, Ernest’s career as a classical violinist blossomed when he was selected as a Young Artist for the Cactus Pear Music Festival. While studying classical violin, Ernest also became a semi-finalist in the Kingsville International Competition for Strings

Ernest began his theatrical career at show park, Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Sauceda became a singing and dancing violinist performing in various shows. Ernest went on to win contracts as an actor, singer, and dancer with theaters such as Sight and Sound, Lamb’s Players Theatre, Maine State Music Theatre, The Old Globe, and many others. Other shows include performances at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Dollywood, Universal Studios Japan, and onboard with Disney Cruise Line. One of his classical violin concerts, "MAESTOSO", was recorded live for Texas Public Radio and is actively played on-air.

More recently, Ernest debuted as a singer and violinist with Cirque Du Soleil.

Pulling from his vast professional theatrical background, Sauceda started Danrie as a means to give a top-tier show experience back to his community. Danrie first produced “Violin Odyssey” , a film project that featured Sauceda as a violinist and sounds from around the world. Other products include, “SAMBA!”, a streetmosphere show at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, “All Together Now!” a Broadway revue, and most recently, “West Side Story”.

Having produced and choreographed a myriad of unique shows with Danrie, Ernest hopes to engage audiences with his exciting yet profound creations.
